Flame: Creative Children's Ministry

This year we are going to have a special session with the children where we really celebrate Epiphany.  We are hoping to make King cakes but this will definitely be one of our activities: an Epiphany play dough mat that will help to explore the idea of gifts we receive and what we can give to Jesus.  Click here to print off the page and have fun!

I've been thinking about ways of helping children to use the Nativity story in prayer and this is what I've come up with!   Each Nativity story character leads to a different prayer... Print out the sheet, laminate the cards (or stick the paper onto a sheet of card) and then let children choose a character and pray the prayer that goes with it.  If you have a Nativity set, the children might like to hold the characters as they pray :-) Click here to print out the sheet.
