On Sunday we have an all age service based on John 15: 1-11 (Jesus speaking about the vine and the branches). Our focus will be on how we can grow as disciples and bear fruit for God. As a take away I've put together some little bags containing cotton wool, cress seeds (something fast and easy to grow!) and a little sheet with instructions and a prayer idea on it. There should be enough for each family to take one away to grow at home! Here is the text on the sheet: Help us to grow! This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples. John 15:8 Wet the cotton wool and put it on a saucer. Sprinkle the seeds on top. Ask God to show you how you can grow as a disciple and bear fruit for Him. Keep the cress in a sunny place and don’t forget to water the cotton wool! As it grows think about how you are showing the world that you are a disciple.
