Printable Reflective Worship Colouring Sheet: Psalm 150

Here is the reflective colouring sheet we used in our 'worship' based Messy Church this month.  It really fitted in with the celebration and both adults and children made use of it during the afternoon.

    Mina is it ok to print and give your free printables to my Bible Journaling class? There are 25 people. We would put them in our bibles. Sometimes we post our work after we finish on social media. We would be sure to credit you with the design of course.

Trusting God: The Amazing Water Glass Trick!

I used this idea in an assembly yesterday, focussing on people we trust and what it means to trust God.   This would work really well if you are exploring miracle stories or stories about trust.  Suitable verses to use with it might be:  Joshua 1:9: Remember, I commanded you to be strong and brave. Don’t be afraid, because the  Lord  your God will be with you wherever you go.” Psalm 56: 3  When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. John 14: 1  Jesus said, “Don’t be troubled. Trust in God, and trust in me  I have to admit that this trick is not an original idea.  I found the trick in this book:  Simple Science Object Talks by Heno Head Jnr  and would definitely recommend getting cold of a copy if you can! The Lord's Prayer: Crafts, games and prayer activities

On Saturday, Powersource explored the Lord's Prayer, looking creatively at every section.  Here's how we broke it down and what we did.  Some activities have links to posts which will explain in more detail.  Please note that we had a 3 hour session so that's how we fitted so much in! Warm up- Order the Lord's prayer ( how much can you remember?).  Prayer printed out and cut into strips, mixed up so they can be put in the correct order.  We made this a race! Our Father in Heaven:   Heaven collage  (a whole group project)   Hallowed be your name: Names of God dominoes   (discussing the many names of God and what they mean to us). Your Kingdom come:   Kingdom of God orbs .  When we finished we put them on a world map to symbolise God's sovereignty over the world.  The children then insisted we arrange them into a cross shape.  They have really got into using symbols in prayer!   Your...
